Our Center Director, Associate Professor Ümmügülsüm ZOR, and Deputy Director, Assistant Professor Akın ÖZDEMİR, paid a visit to the MÜSİAD Sakarya Branch. During the meeting, a roadmap was established for the SYNC-SAKARYA: Value Chain Synchronization Model in Production and Trade project, and it was decided that a preliminary feasibility study based on primary data would be conducted by September 2026.
The project aims to identify the strengths and weaknesses of Sakarya in the areas of trade and employment, to synchronize the value chains the city holds in the fields of production and commerce, and to develop an original model within this framework that can subsequently be scaled and replicated across other cities in Türkiye.
