Sakarya University's Sakarya Economic and Social Research Center (SESAM) has embarked on a strong collaboration with the Habitat Association, a leading provider of expertise in social development and digital transformation, and the global entrepreneurship network GEN Turkey.
Within the framework of this collaboration, significant projects will be implemented by combining global expertise and local dynamics. With GEN Turkey's expertise, SESAM will collaborate on projects to strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem by organizing joint programs and summits. These projects aim to support young and women entrepreneurs in Sakarya and the surrounding area. Based on Habitat's mission, Digital Transformation and Skills Development projects will be implemented, aiming to increase the digital literacy and technology competencies of students and communities in the region. Furthermore, all projects prioritize contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In this regard, we will prioritize projects that increase social and environmental awareness and support inclusive and sustainable growth, and we will collaborate in these areas. This strong partnership aims to play an active role in Sakarya's achievement of its regional development goals by strengthening SESAM's projects in the field of entrepreneurship and sustainability.
